Awakening

Once I had dreamed,
I was awakened by an angel,
A goddess indeed,
Her words spoke softly,
They were much a tender breed,
The tone sounded soothing,
As she whispered to me,
Don't worry now,
Forever I’m here...

Though the words were committing,
I nodded in assurance,
Wondered of such a beautiful,
Not a terrible annoyance,
Love struck I was,
In a good fashion as well,
This woman was amazing,
And that I must tell...

Through my hopes and my dreams,
Clearly stayed a fantasy,
I still await my awakening,
Are you the angel for me?
