my temper can't withstand,
the problem at the hand,
of selflessness I stand,
and this had not been planned.

give back, remnants replace,
the side of the world that i do not face,
repeat the feeling that i must hold back,
all the things you said, now don't mean jack!

when we were alone, we would laugh and shout,
no second thoughts, not even a doubt,
but then it changed in the shift of a hand,
from chains of hope, to rocks in the sand!

Move on, with your life i say,
don't look back, ever to this day,
'cause if you do, nothing will go back,
remind yourself it don't, mean jack!

Give up, all your mindless thoughts,
though ironic, the mood swings are just plots,
to escape, this path you had lead,
